Drum Exams

Working towards qualifications helps motivate, support and progress through a learning framework, covering the graded syllabuses of Trinity and Trinity Rock and Pop exams. I'm proud to say my students have attained 100% success, most achieving merits and distinction.

I support and prepare students for drum exams, GCSE and A level performances, Music College and University auditions. Many students have progressed as professional musicians or other roles within the music industry.

Location and Ethos

Teaching in person or online from my fully equipped studio in Hadleigh. Lessons are tailored to students requirements with acheivable goals set and a learning pathway agreed to progress from their current ability.

Practice strategies and techniques are taught so that home practice is productive and fun. I encouraged students to learn to read standard drum kit notation as the benifits support learning and progress, although this is optional. The overall aim is to make your lessons enjoyable and educational.
